Brendan Cottrell
I am a 39-year-old God-fearing man. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 18 years and we have 6 children: 5 boys and a girl. I spent most of my adult life in public safety. Nearly 2 decades as a professional firefighter/paramedic, the last half of which I also served as a SWAT operator. This was not only my career but my passion.
From an early point in my career, I found success and fulfillment in teaching others. Fireground tactics, leadership, firearms, small unit tactics, and combat marksmanship were some of the subjects that I focused on and continue to teach. Seeing others broaden their knowledge and capability is something I truly enjoy.
As life tends to do, an opportunity arose for me and my family that brought us from the Midwest to the heart of Texas. Today, I am a devoted husband and loving father, I run the operations at a large-scale data facility, I am heavily involved at my family’s church, and I am a cofounder of the Redeemed Legion.
I am proud of many of the things God has allowed me to accomplish throughout my life, including this new adventure. The Redeemed Legion is reaching men for Christ in a way that nobody else is, and I am happy to be a part of it.
