About Drew Neal
I am a 35-year-old father of three and husband to one beautiful wife of 11 years. Growing up, I was surrounded by strong sinful nature, drugs, and violence. Living a life pulling from these examples and experiences ultimately led me down a path that I was not ready to spend eternity. After years of bad decisions and hurting those I loved, God intervened in my life and convicted me of my sins. I am thankful and grateful for every moment of my life as I believe God has used it to shape me into a man that can use those experiences to help other men find their identity in Christ.
I joined the fire service in 2006 and continue to serve through a career department and the volunteer organization where my family and I live. I have been blessed to write articles for FireRescue1.com for several years now.
Serving as an Elder in our church, coaching many youth groups, and volunteering for civic duties in our community are some of my favorite ways to share Christ’s love with others.
Through my personal and professional life, I have clearly understood how broken this world is and how lacking it is of strong, Christian-male leadership. For years I have wanted some type of group to go chase down the men of the world and share the love, truth, and reality that Christ is King, and we as men are to live our lives as biblically charged. Add two more guys with the same vision, and Redeemed Legion was born.
